ProdigyLink, Inc. (“ProdigyLink,” “we,” “us”) provides water management solutions for affordable housing. This policy explains what information we collect on prodigylink.com (the “Site”) and in the ProdigyLink client portal at app.prodigylink.com (the “Portal”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.
Information you give us
When you submit the “Talk to our team” form, we receive the details you enter: your name, organization, email address, phone number, and, if you provide them, the size of your portfolio and a message. The form is delivered to ProdigyLink as an email so that a member of our team can respond. We use it only to answer your request and to follow up about ProdigyLink services. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence so that we can help you and keep a record of the conversation.
Information collected automatically
The Site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the time of the request) to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
The hero video and fonts are served from our own hosting.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, roughly where they are (city or state, never a street address), the type of device and browser, and actions such as submitting the contact form or using the savings calculator. We use this only in aggregate, to improve the Site. We do not use it for advertising, we do not send Google your name, email address, or phone number, and the Site uses no advertising cookies.
Analytics cookies are set only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. They are _ga and _ga_8FGPFVBZGY, which let Google Analytics recognize a returning browser and last up to two years. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google receives only basic, cookieless signals that cannot identify your browser. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy.
The client portal
The Portal is available to ProdigyLink clients and the people they authorize. Signing in sets a session cookie that keeps you logged in; it is essential to the service and expires when the session ends. The Portal shows information about your organization’s properties, devices, water usage, alerts, and the contacts on your account, which we hold under the agreement between ProdigyLink and your organization. Sign-in emails and invitations are sent through a transactional email provider on our behalf. Portal users can ask us to correct or remove their account by contacting support.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and the Portal:
- Vercel, which hosts the Site and the Portal.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics for the Site (see Analytics and cookies above).
- Our email delivery provider, which sends contact-form notifications, sign-in emails, and invitations.
- Our database provider, which stores Portal accounts and the data shown in the Portal.
Each provider processes information only on our instructions. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of ProdigyLink, our clients, or residents. If ProdigyLink is ever part of a merger or acquisition, information may transfer to the successor under this same policy.
How long we keep it
Contact-form inquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business relationship. Portal data is kept for the life of the client agreement and for the period our contracts and the law require afterwards. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your choices
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- You can opt out of follow-up communication at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
- You can browse the Site without submitting any personal information.
- You can decline analytics cookies, or change your choice later, with Cookie settings.
We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of where you live. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have additional rights under those laws, and we respond to requests made under them within the required time.
Security
The Site and the Portal are served over HTTPS. Portal access is limited to authorized users, and each user sees only the organizations and properties they are assigned to. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.
Children
The Site and the Portal are for businesses and their staff. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the effective date above. Material changes that affect Portal users will also be communicated to the client organization.
